Castellammare di Stabia, Villa San Marco, December 2006. Room 29, bath in caldarium. According to Keppie, these baths in the caldarium were heated by a bronze water-tank which was acquired by Sir William Hamilton.
The water-tank was lost in the wrecking of the HMS Colossus in 1798, near the Isles of Scilly. See Keppie, L. (2009). The Romans on the Bay of Naples: an archaeological guide. The History Press, Stroud, Glos. (p.149)
